Aight, in an attempt to not let my blog die out, I plan to update it more frequently. This means writing about life events that are seemingly small or unimportant, but that I can look back at later and go like “oooh so that’s what I was doing!!!” In short, that is what this entry is gonna be.
Before my CAIN game on friday I was fucking fuming because I had to deal with incompetent group project members. This girl literally refused to revise her clearly AI generated slides that had false information on them, even after the professor gave us a review saying we needed to revise them. She got all hyper emotional and tried (and failed) to prove me wrong when I told her her information was incorrect (cause it was so clearly chat gpt generated) about the company we were doing the project on. She caused this massive blow-up over nothing in the group chat where everyone else in the group project was just like “ok ill fix my slides” she was like “we have used ai many times in this class i am leaving my slides as is” which ok go sabotage all of our grades like that sure girl whatever
The actual CAIN game was pretty enjoyable though. I enjoyed getting to hang out with cool people, and do a little bit of fighting & roleplay on the side. We made a lot of progress in our game, in our “childhood regrets” case, which in the central motive is destroying a centipede sin making a giant zombie apocalypse. We confirmed the host, an HVAC worker, and fought the sin a few times, ending session with banishing it to it’s palace.
The rest of my weekend was spent doing pretty mundane tasks, I had to go back to my hometown to run some errands like picking up packages, delivering them to friends, going to the pharmacy, doing laundry with my gf, & meeting with the person I am cat-sitting for over thanksgiving weekend. Sunday I spent the whole day blazed out of my mind and playing persona 5 strikers which was a much needed break.
A few of my professors assigned less work for this week, since yknow, thanksgiving week, but most of them did not. I had an exam in operations management, which other than the last extra credit assignment should be the last thing I had to do in that class. I passed it with a 79, and that means I can finish off my semester in that class with a 93 once my extra credit is in. Nice! I am doing a lot of waiting for ppl in my classes to finish up their work on group projects before I can do my own work on them right now, which is annoying as hell. I have one more exam before finals next monday for business ethics, which I already made my cheat sheet for so I should be chilling. After that is finals week, where I only have to take 4 finals, 1 on monday and 3 on tuesday, since operations management and business ethics all have optional finals. I need to make cheat sheets for all of them but I am putting that off till next week.
D&D this sunday! Yay! as well as my birthday! The big 20… Which just reminds me that ill be graduating college at 20. And soon. Since I’m pretty sure I am gonna pass all my courses this semester. I cant say how next semester is going to go, but I did meet someone in the DS110 discord who shared the final project for DS115 so ayyyyy we chilling on that front. Oh yeah. Birthday. I don’t have any huge plans, or really any plans at all, but I am going to see Zootopia 2 with my gf and my bf after D&D. For some reason the luxe cinema had remarkably cheaper seats than the normal one, so that is where I bought tickets for us at. I plan to give my gf June her birthday gifts as well then, cause her birthday is Dec 3, 3 days after mine.
I registered for all my classes! And got into literally the last seat for GM105, my capstone course (shudders). Its amazing how stressful college registration has been up until the last semester. I thought it would improve as the years went up, but nah, the classes still get filled up within 0.01 seconds of opening and senior priority really doesn’t do jack shit. I will be taking 5 classes next semester, one less than I have taken every other semester, although I don’t think it will logistically change much since I have had at least one online class every semester before this which do they really count? I don’t think so. Unfortunately I am stuck with a 6:00-7:15pm class monday through thursday. My brain stops functioning at 3:00pm so I hope I can get through it.
Uh yeah. That’s about it. Lets hope I continue to remember to update my site through blogs at least.
